Hot tubs are available in many shapes and sizes – round, square, even triangle – and are purchased for different reasons. The most popular reason is relaxation. Hot tubs can provide a moment of relaxation after a long day, but they can also be used to entertain guests or for therapeutic reasons, such as to treat soreness.
Whether you're single or have a large family, a hot tub can be a fun addition to your home. There are a multitude of hot tubs on the market with a handful of different features. The Master Spas Twilight Series, Healthy Living Hot Tubs, and the Clarity Spas all have different capacities, jets, and features. Whatever your reason for wanting one, you can get an outdoor or an indoor hot tub to fit your situation.
There are a lot of things to consider before making a hot tub purchase. We've determined that you should consider the following three criteria before deciding which hot tub is right for you.
Features
Many features are available for hot tubs. One of the great things about hot tubs is you can find one with all the features you want – or you can even customize it to fit your exact preferences.
A feature you should consider, first and foremost, is the amount of jets you want. The jets can make or break the hot tub's comfort level. Too many and you could be uncomfortable, but just the right amount makes it paradise. Other features to look for in a hot tub include massage sequencers, mini waterfalls, lighting, an audio system, and neck and back pillows.
Pump
The pump your hot tub has is important because it is the center of the unit's operation. The pump's job is to circulate the water through your tub. Hot tubs come with either a single or dual speed, depending on the size of the unit, to keep themselves running efficiently.
Capacity
The capacity of the tub covers a few different things – the amount of seating, the water volume and the dimensions of the unit. Choosing a hot tub with the right amount of seating for your situation is important. A smaller hot tub can generally hold two to three people, while larger hot tubs can hold seven to eight people.
Hot tubs provide an escape from the stressful lives we lead. Whether you're simply in the market for a hot tub to relax in every now and again or to entertain friends from time to time, there is a top-rated hot tub that fits perfectly into your lifestyle.
Components
People it is all about the components. When we build a hot tub we can buy good solid proven track record components like Balboa heating and control systems, and Waterways jets, pumps and fittings or we can buy inexpensive components like Rising Dragon jets, controls and filters… and there are also a whole pile of guys in the middle. but understand one thing!!!.
Shells

Shells construction can vary vastly and the way a shell is built will effect how long your spa will last…
Almost everybody uses the same shell materials but the manufacturing technique can make a drastic difference in the cost and the reliability of your hot tub main component… the shell
1. Hand rolled self supporting shells are rare, most use a band aid approach of props, supports and steel re-enforcing to try and keep cheap shells from falling apart.
2. Thick edges does not mean the whole shell is thicker, it just means they make the edge thick to give you that warm fuzzy feeling.
3. supports under the seats to support the shell are not a good thing they mean the shell is cheap and thin and needs supporting to hold up.
